Well that was either a quiick hiatus or a premature announcement. Actually I just found a scrap of paper with a curry on it that I made the other night and forgot to post. I made this entirely in the thermomix, then removed it, cooked the rice in the thermomix and reheated the curry in a saucepan. You could use any old vegetables in this, I just used what I had in the house that needed using up.
Malay Style Goat Curry
3 cloves garlic
1 onion.
2 tablespoons Malay curry powder
1 tablespoon tomato paste
3 potatoes, diced
1 kg goat, diced
2 carrots, sliced
1 cup chopped, blanched cauliflower
handful beans cut into 1 inch lengths
1 banana chilli, sliced
1 cup water
2 tablespoon flour to thicken
Chop and saute the onion and garlic. Add everything else and cook for 15 minutes, reverse speed 1 at 100 degrees. Or if without a thermomix, use the a saucepan and simmer until meat and potato is cooked through. Serve over rice.
