Utter simplicity…steamed spring vegetables and haloumi
Just the veg and haloumi alone would be enough for me. The carboholics in the family demanded more so I added some dried Chinese noodles. A squeeze of lemon juice is all this dinner needs.

I deserted this little bloglet over the weekend in favour of particpating in real life. It happens sometimes. Not to mention […]

Tonight at Chez KP, we feasted. Oh boy did we feast. I used almost the same ingredients for both lunch and dinner today. Is that wrong? Bad luck if it is, its the end of the week in terms of food shopping and choices are limited. Both meals were good and it was the Ankle Biters turn to cook dinner so I’m happy. We had our […]
Of course.
I absolutely had to finish that colcannon tonight. I don’t like the way potato freezes. Plus I have a strange aversion to serving up leftovers in their original state. So I needed an idea that would work well with a potato mash, bearing in mind I made a potato dough with some yesterday. That left […]
Oh my heavens I love cheese. Bugger chocolate (nice though it can be), I’ll take cheese any day. So for a cold winter evening, I made this combination of cheeses with some pasta, pumpkin and sage thrown in to flesh it out. Tortellini with Pumpkin, sage and three cheese sauce adapted from yet another Super […]
It’s been quite a while since I posted a 10 minute meal. Today I needed it. I was missing a vital ingredient for my planned meal and got buried deep in laundry. So this is what I came up with. Seafood and Goat Cheese Pasta. pasta of choice (with 10 minutes or less cooking time) […]
